Lillian Rose Graythen Bowser passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022. Born December 5, 1926, Lillian was predeceased by parents Stephen and Louise Graythen, sister Betty Schmaltz, brother Albert Graythen, and daughter-in-law Penny Bowser. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 68 years, Robert "Bob" Bowser, whom she married on October 16, 1945. She was also the proud mother of three children: Robert W. Bowser (Charlene), Helen Bowser Brister (Richard), and Larry Bowser (Rondell). Lillian was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A private burial will be held. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that those who wish to honor Lillian’s memory make a donation in her name for senior adult activities or Thanksgiving baskets at her longtime church, Metairie Baptist (401 Codifer Blvd., Metairie, LA 70005).
