Linda Landry Chaix

Linda Landry Chaix, of Metairie, Louisiana, passed away surrounded by her loved ones after a battle with Multiple Sclerosis on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at the age of 75. She was the cherished wife of John Chaix, Jr. Loving mother of Jennifer Tonglet (James), Stephanie Pettit (Matthew), and the late Melanie Roxburgh. Proud grandmother of five grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, and Joseph Tonglet, as well as Makaela Hill and Ashley Pettit. She was predeceased by her father, Ulysses George Landry, and survived by her mother, Tomasina Landry, and her siblings, Michael Landry and Karen Guidry (J.P.). She will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 2:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 12:00PM. The interment will be private.
