Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Therman Simmons, and her parents, Joseph and Emma Freeman.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Lisa Victory, and three grandchildren, Corrie, Shea, and Trey Victory.
Linda was born in New Orleans on May 23, 1945. She graduated from Ursuline Academy and attended Loyola University. She worked for Shell Oil Company as a legal secretary for many years.
Linda enjoyed gardening, antique shopping, reading her Bible, and spending quality time with family and friends. She and her late husband, Therman, were members of the Corvette Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM. The interment will immediately follow the gathering at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
