Lloyd Albert Dickinson passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Josephine Gautreaux Dickinson. Son of the late Harry Ernest Dickinson, Sr. and Blanche Lorio Dickinson. Father of Donna Landry (AJ), Debbie Perret (Stephen) and Lisa D. Aucoin (David). Brother of the late Harry E. Dickinson, Jr. , Blanche Dickinson Arnoult, Ethyl Dickinson Gueymard, Anice Dickinson, Bernice Dickinson, Earl Dickinson, Myrtle Dickinson, Bertin Dickinson, Cecile Dickinson Brown, George Dickinson, Roy Dickinson, Claire Dickinson Biamonte, Edward Dickinson and Marion Dickinson Oldenburg. Brother-in-law of Emma Gautreaux Kelly and the late Louis Gautreaux. Grandfather of Jody Bergeron, Jamie Landry, Amy Voss, Mark Voss, Leslie George, David Aucoin, Jr. and Brandon Aucoin. Also survived by five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Dickinson served in the United States Air Force during WWII and the Korean Wars. He was an Electrician for Local Union 130 and a parishioner of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Kenner. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

We are so sorry for your loss. Lloyd was such a nice and friendly man who loved God and practiced his faith. We will truly miss his gently spirit and seeing him at Mass. Dear Donna, Debbie, Lisa and Family,
We are all so sorry for your loss. Uncle Lloyd was a kind and loving man. He and Aunt Jo helped my Mother and I get things in order so much after Katrina. He will be sadly missed.
