Louella was born in Plaucheville, Louisiana on November 30, 1925 to Willie and Estella Dubroc. She married Reven St. Romain on February 20, 1944 and they were married 72 years.
Louella was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; sister Ethel Guidry; brothers Percy, Florien, and Camile Dubroc; son Michael St. Romain; and grandson Matthew St. Romain. She is survived by children Dale St. Romain (Joel), Peggy Hyslope, and daughter-in-law Jackie St. Romain; grandchildren Kenneth, Kathleen, Krysta, and Brandon; great-grandchildren Amanda, Amber, Jacob, Matthew, Lilly, Rois, and Niko; and great great-grandchildren Ava, Alexis, and Evelyn.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Boulevard in New Orleans on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 10:00 am. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 am. A burial will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
