Louis J. Klein III

Louis Joseph Klein III passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025, at the age of 81. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sandra David Klein. Louis was preceded in death by his loving parents, Louis Joseph Klein, Jr. and Shirley Fonvergne Klein, and his brother Walter Louis Klein (Lucy).

Family meant everything to Louis. He is survived by his sister, Bonnie Ann Klein; two children, Louis John Klein (Cindy) and Laurie Klein Schneider (John); his six grandchildren, Christopher LaVoie, Johnathan Schneider, Brandon Logrande (Brooke), Brian Logrande (Jordon), Rachel Schneider, Samantha Robertson, who brought him immense joy and pride; and his five great grandchildren, Paisleigh, Jaxon, Maverick, River and Harper Mae, who lit up his world.

Louis had a love for old cars and motorcycles, specifically the Harley-Davidson. After retirement he spent time traveling on cruise ships and working in his workshop building and restoring furniture. He loved helping others all around him and never expected anything in return. His heart was big for everyone around him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, on Thursday, February 20, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM followed by a Catholic Mass in the Chapel at 1:00 PM. The burial will follow within Metairie Cemetery.
