Louis "Louie" John Orth

Louis “Louie” John Orth passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday May 2, 2023, he was 65 years old. He began his 35-year career at Boh Bros. Construction Company starting as a pipefitter/welder working his way up to Forman, Project Manager, Estimator and retired as General Superintendent. His favorite pastimes were playing and listening to music, spending time with his family and anything NASCAR. However, he most treasured every second he was able to be PawPaw.

Son of Dorothy “Dolly” S. Orth and the late Louis P. Orth, Jr. Survived by his daughter Nicole Orth Guhman (Jason), grandsons Jake H. Guhman and Joshua N. Guhman. Three brothers Larry Orth (Mary), Lenny Orth (Rhonda) and Lonny Orth (Allison), two sisters Laurie O. Anderson (Ron) and Linda O. Wright (Kevin) and too many nieces, nephews to name!

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124 on Friday May 12, 2023 @ 11am. Inurnment will immediately follow in Lake Lawn Park.
