Lucile was one of the first friends I made in New Orleans when I arrived as a young bride. She also became one of the dearest. Our husbands had been friends for years and our families grew up together. I will always think of Lucile and Donald with great affection and admiration.

Lucile was one of the most loving people I know. She always helped everyone, especially Laura & Matt & attended their special events. She even let us have our wedding at their house! She only became more beautiful with time. She never judged people, only loved & included them. At Christmas 🎄 she welcomed our entire family & any friends, around their large table filled with delicious food. She was truly God’s helper first, cared for others second, and thought of herself last. We all need to learn from her loving model. 💖Mary Monsted
