A unique soul, Lucille was truly a southern lady and enjoyed socializing and living life to the fullest. She was an artist; for ten-plus years she made kissing canes for the Italian Marching Club in New Orleans. Because of this, she was named as a folk artist by the Louisiana Folklife Program and one of her kissing canes could be viewed in the state capitol for years. She will be greatly missed by all.
