Luella Roussel Waters died peacefully at home of renal failure lovingly surrounded by her family. She was 93. Mrs. Waters was a retired medical secretary at Baptist Hospital where she worked in the electrocardiogram department. She was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Graduating from St. Joseph’s High School. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by her husband Joe and her eldest son Michael; her parents Emile and Odelia Roussel; her sisters Sadie Foret, Ollie Albanese, Beaulah Naegle and Lorraine Connor Matherne; and her brothers Emile, Vincent and Raleigh Roussel. Survivors include her sons Ronnie (Alicia) and Danny; Susan Noto Waters, grandchildren Alexandra (Andrew) Koehler, Miles Waters and a sister Anna Mae Suprehand.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 12:00 Noon celebrated by Fr. Mariano Veliz. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Visitation will begin at 10:00am until Noon.
