She was born in New Orleans on March 27. 1939 to the late Isidore “Cookie” Ferrand and Dorothy Oser Ferrand.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, John F. Wolken; daughters, Terrilyn Pennington Lemoine and Cynthia Pennington Cervini (David); sister, Elaine Amato (Anthony); grandchildren, Rachel Lemoine Downie (James), Rebecca Ellen Lemoine, Shannon Schoenhardt, Sean Schoenhardt, Julia Cervini, and Olivia White; and great grandchildren, Sadie Downie and Forest “Alec” Lanning.
She was a proud 1956 graduate of Warren Easton High School and went on to organize her high school reunions. She went on to work for the Jefferson Parish School system for 25 years. Lynn was also a licensed New Orleans tour guide for 21 years and served a three year term as president of the Tour Guide Association of Greater New Orleans (having been a 25 year member) and a member of the National Federation of Tour Guide Association. She also supported her city by carrying a membership to the Audubon Zoo.
Lynn was a longtime member of Metairie Evangelical Church and had recently been attending Glory to Glory Life Ministries.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 12 PM. The public visitation will begin at 10 AM. A burial will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
