On May 10, 2024, Maggie passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Maggie is survived by her loving husband Blaise of 57 years, her children, Karen and Blaise, their spouses, Kurt Launey and Shelley DiMartino, and her five grandchildren, Helen, Lori, Drew, Blaise and Olivia. Maggie is preceded in death by her parents, Elvin and Margaret Schaff, and her grandparents, Peter and Margaret Marcev. Maggie loved and lived for her family. As a teacher for 34 years at Christ the King School, she loved her friends, her job, and cherished her memories of all the children that she grew to love. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Maggie’s life on May 22nd at Lake Lawn Metairie, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, La from 10:30AM to 1:00PM. A private interment will follow.
