Malroy E. Mayley

Malroy Edward Mayley, age 100, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016. He is survived by his beloved wife, Verinice O’Connor Mayley; his daughters, Lynne Mayley Gorenflo, Gwen Mayley Schaneville, Jean Mayley Pagart, Anne Mayley Adams and Beth Mayley Mascaro; grandchildren, Tara Gorenflo Nicholas, Amy and Matt Gorenflo, Chris and Greg Schaneville, Adam Pagart, Brook Adams, and Caitlin and Malayne Mascaro; great-grandchildren, Annabel and Alafair Nicholas, Caroline and George Schaneville and Verinice Pagart. He is preceded in death by his father, William Mayley; mother, Georgiana Stoll and his brother, Weston Mayley. He was a lifelong residence of New Orleans. He graduated from Tulane University, followed by a career in Commercial Real Estate. He loved sailing, flying and most of all spending time with his family. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol for many years, a member of both the Southern Yacht Club, New Orleans Yacht Club and the New Orleans Power Squadron, He will be missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will begin at 12:00 noon until service time.
