Marcelle Tafani Meyer

Marcelle Marie Josephine Tafani Meyer passed away on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was 97. Marcelle was born on January 4th, 1927 in Beziers, France to Adeline and Sebastien Tafani. She grew up in Nice, France with her sisters Josette and Andrée and her brother Raymond. She emigrated to the United States in 1953.

Marcelle is survived by her husband Sam Meyer, their two sons Paul (Pascale) and Michael, her two grandsons Cedric and Christopher (Amanda), her great granddaughter Margot, her brother Raymond Tafani, her nephew Laurent Tafani, her niece Mireille Moguerou (Thierry Delage), and numerous grandnieces and great grandnieces.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Friday, November 15th, 2024 at Saint Angela Merici Church, 901 Beverly Garden Drive, in Metairie, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at noon with the mass following at 1:00 pm. Interment will be private.
