She was preceded in death by her parents, Juilo and Vicenta Bringuier; her husband, Rolando J. Pelaez; brothers, Julio Bringuier (the late Ana) and Juan Bringuier; sisters, Vicenta Bringuier and Maria del Carmen Bringuier (the late Jorge.)
She is survived by her children, Rolando Pelaez, Martha Pelaez, Raul Pelaez (Patricia), Bertha Pelaez Pollard (Ford), Pelayo Pelaez (Toni), Paul Pelaez (Joy) and Roberto Pelaez (Karen); grandchildren, Bertha M, Martha M, Lillian M, Lisette M, Ernesto, Jennifer, Raul, Ryan, Paul Joseph, Marissa, Carly; 14 great grandchildren; brother Carlos Bringuier (Pochy); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018 in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
