Marie was an English teacher, who still possessed many letters of love and appreciation from her students seventy-plus years ago. She had a lifelong faith and deep devotion to God and was an actively involved parishioner at St. Louis King of France, where she served as Eucharistic minister for many years. Marie loved her family and was a steadfast matriarch, always the one to help in times of need and to be present in times of celebration. Her love of animals and nature was profound; her door was always open to an animal needing a home.
Marie was a true lady, and her genteel, old-world manners, convictions, and steadfast love will be missed. We celebrate her life and are enriched by her unwavering faith and generosity. She is survived by her sister, Nora Hanford; brother, Albert Federico; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Ms. Frank Federico; sister, Yvonne Flores; and brother, Frank Federico.
