Marie Louise Madona, age 86, of New Orleans, was called by our Lord to His heavenly home on Saturday, March 21, 2015. She is survived by her loving sister, Marion Madona DiGuardi (Anthony); two nieces, Cheryl Varnado (Paul) and Toni Brousse (Greg); and two nephews, Ricky Madona (Keelie) and Earl Madona Jr. She is the great-aunt of Stacey, P. J., Sarah, Matthew, Gregory, and Katie. She also leaves behind several great- great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her two brothers, Salvador Madona Sr. and Earl Madona Sr.; nephew, Salvador Madona Jr.; niece, Trudy Cusimano (survived by husband, Noel); and great-niece, Brandi Varnado. She will be remembered for her 42 years of loyal service to FNBC Bank, love of sports, animals, and family vacations. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 11:00 am at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am until service time. Inurnment will take place at Metairie Cemetery immediately following the services.
