I believe Ms. Marie was known to my Dad, Leroy Bertrand, who worked with Mr. Clarence many years ago. Dad was very fond of both.  I send my sympathy to the family.

Mom, I sit here sadly, missing you dearly.  But I know you are so happy you are back with Pops.  We spent many years together, caring for you and I will always cherish those words when I got home from work.  "Rhea, can you make me some tea"  That was the last thing you said to me on 1/1/2018.  I never cared how tired I was, but I always got you your tea.  This last year was hard for me, cause you were on the NorthShore and I on the South Shore, but I knew Aimee and the girls were caring for you and you loved those great - grandchildren.  I will miss you mom, just as I miss Pops.  Watch over me as I know you will!

Rhea and C.J., I am so very sorry to hear of your mom's passing and my inability to attend the services.  I have many, many wonderful  childhood memories with your mom and your dad.  I will cherish them forever.  I am continuing to pray for your entire family as you transition into daily life knowing she is no longer here.  Take care.

Mama, selfishly I am going to miss you here on Earth. I know you are happy and pain free in heaven with Our Lord but I want to hold your hand again and play UNO with the girls. 
Thank you for the happy memories and a loving childhood. I have so many memories of our time together as a child and adult. You were always there for me without questions and arms wide open. You always had a smile on your face when I walked in the door. I could write a book on the loving ways you and Pops took care of me. I am eternally grateful for you. 

I am thankful for the opportunity God gave me this past year. I had no idea how much joy was in store for me and my family. My girls got to know you so much better and see how special you were. I did ask God why are you making Mama leave her house that she loved? Why are you allowing Mama to suffer? Why do I need to bring her to a nursing home? It was hard. God allowed me to rekindle our love and care for you. I am so blessed.  I treasure our relationship more than I can describe. 

Walking into SLKF today I was flooded with memories. My First Communion, my Confirmation, years of attending school, school fairs, cafeteria lunches, bingo.... it was a huge part of my childhood and you were there every step of the way. Thank you certainly does not even come close to being sufficient. Until we meet again.... Watch over my family and protect my girls. I need all the help I can get raising these girls and doing an amazing job like you did for me ❤

Aimee, May your memories grow sweeter and more treasured with each passing moment; may you rest in the peace and comfort of our Lord and Savior.  Please know we're praying for you all.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of your grandmother, Aimee. I know how special she was to you. Thoughts and prayers to you all during this difficult time.

Rhea and C.J. so sorry for the loss of your beloved mother.  she was such a sweet lady.  Rhea, know that you were a wonderful daughter and took good care of her for many years. I am so glad you got to be with her at the end.

Aimee, my deepest condolences go out to you and your family. I pray that fond memories and the love of your family and friends will provide you with comfort during this difficult time. To be absent from the body is to be present with our Lord and Savior. God Bless and keep you always.
