Marilyn Wagner Middleton

Marilyn Wagner Middleton, MD, 91, passed away in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 13, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanton L. Middleton, Jr., MD; her parents, Reginald and Bernice Wagner, Sr., her brother, Reginald C. Wagner, Jr. and her son in law, John R. Cook, III, MD. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Lynn Middleton Cook and her son Stanton L. Middleton, III (Sandy); grandchildren, Ali, Stanton, Megan, John, Jennifer, Leslee, Amy and Katie; and also numerous great grandchildren. Marilyn was a graduate of Newcomb College and the Tulane University, School of Medicine. She was a member of the American Medical Association, the Southern Yacht Club, and the Metairie Country Club. The family wishes to thank all her caregivers and religious who were by her side. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 11:00am. A private interment will follow the Mass. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, please offer masses in her name or please make donations in her name to the Notre Dame Seminary, 2901 S Carrollton Ave, New Orleans, LA 70118.
