Mark Damien Ottaway passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 18, 2014, at the age of 52. Native of New Orleans. Son of Melanie Meyer. Brother of Marleen Palermo, and the late Michael A. Ottaway. Father of the late Chad D. Ottaway. Uncle of Mallory E. Ottaway. Step-father of Jade Alvarado. Step-grandfather of Brogy Haggerty. Mark was a member of the Iron Workers Local 58 and served in the Marines.Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
