Mary Katherine Poirier Cadow passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at the age of 97. She was a native of New Orleans. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, William A. Cadow, Jr. and her son, Gary J. Cadow.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, William A. Cadow III (Karen), Kenneth M. Cadow (Antoinette) and Daniel G. Cadow (Missy); She was the loving grandmother of Eric M. Cadow and Kenneth M. Cadow Jr (Gaylyn); and great-grandmother of Baylor Cadow; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staff of Heart of Hospice and the staff of Agape Care Homes.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the Mass begins. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
