Mary Votas Makris

Mary Votas Makris, born July 26, 1929, passed away on June 20th at the age of 86. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, she has been a resident of Biloxi, Mississippi for the past 26 years. She was a parishioner at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Biloxi. Mary was the daughter of the late Kanella Saralakis Votas of Gythio, Greece and Peter Votas of Zakynthos, Greece. Mother of Gail Makris Psilos, Peter and Alexander Makris, Mother-in-law of Anthony Psilos, Lidia Makris and Jean Makris, Grandmother of Christopher, Nicolle, Matthew and Brooke Psilos, DeeDee, Deacon, McKenna, Addison and Roman Makris and Great Grandmother of Alexia, Sophia, Andrew, Michael, Christian and Julianna Psilos.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1200 Robert E. Lee Blvd., New Orleans on Thursday, June 23rd. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 am until 11 am. Interment will be private.
