Mary Shirley Parks, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James Louis Parks, Sr.; and her siblings: Ella Mae Thibodaux and William Milton Mace.
Mary is survived by her three children: Barbara Parks Brauner (Tommy), Leslie Grilletta Parks (Charlie) and James Parks, Jr.; her four grandchildren: Xavier “Trip” Grilletta, III (Christine), Ashley Brauner Ernst (Loy), Bailey Andressen Copeland and Sydney Parks; and six great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass to be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA. 70124, on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
