Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Vincent “Joe” Perez, III; her parents, John and Elizabeth Conti; her sister, Dottie Kindseth; and her brother, John Conti.
Mary is survived by her four children, Judith Perez, Paul Perez (Nancy), Laura Houte (Steve), and Ann Perez; her nine grandchildren, Teresa Stockton (Jimmy), Lauren Olsen (Josh), Preston Perez (Rachel), Blake Perez (Elizabeth), Russell Perez (Erin), Kaitlyn Perez, Jessica Creed (Charles), Kayla Ledet (Grant), and Eric Houte; her sister, Diane Doolen (Phil); and her brother, Charles Conti (Paula). She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 26, 1935. She was a founding member and a very active parishioner of Resurrection of Our Lord Parish in New Orleans.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass Resurrection of Our Lord Parish, 9701 Hammond St. in New Orleans, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 11:00AM. A visitation will be held at the church beginning at 9:00AM. The interment will follow the Mass at Metairie Cemetery.
