Mary passed away on May 21, 2025, sitting in her favorite rocking chair watching TV.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Adrian Walter Schwing, Jr. and her sister, Gloria Links Duvieilh.
Mary was a devout wife, mother, grandmother and practicing Catholic and went to many Tuesday evening novenas at St James Catholic Church with Yolanda Schenck.
She enjoyed going to work every day socializing and seeing all of the many friends she made over the years while working with her co-workers and Mr. Joe Veninata at Oak Park Shopping Center in New Orleans, Louisiana as the Business Manager.
She was a great cook and loved spending time and meals with her family and grandchildren.
She enjoyed camping and Mardi Gras parades with her children and enjoyed going with her friends to the racetrack, concerts, casino and movies.
She also enjoyed having a little bit of scotch and going dancing with her sister, Gloria Duvieilh.
No matter where she went, she always saw and spoke with a friend or someone she knew.
