Maxine Hepburn

Maxine Frank Hepburn, age 84, of Hammond, LA, died with a heart filled with love, on the early morning of September 20, 2015. A life- long resident of Arabi, LA, Maxine relocated to Hammond following the loss of her home during hurricane Katrina. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Maxine lived for her family and enjoyed cooking for her family and crocheting beautiful gifts for her children and grand children. Following her retirement as a sales associate at Sears, she and her husband enjoyed numerous travels both in and out of the country visiting historic sites and boarding luxury cruise liners. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Earl J. Hepburn, her three children: Linda Bender (Jerry), Judy McKee, Earl (Joey) Hepburn, Jr. (Susanne), nine grand children: Jeffrey Hepburn (Amanda), Gregory Hepburn (Lynn), Bridget Hepburn, Brad McKee, Blake McKee, Blair McKee, Joey Bender, Nick Bender, and Alex Bender, and three great grand children: Logan Hepburn, Greyson Hepburn, and Bray McKee. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 a.m.
