Dear Regina and Family, Melvin was always one of my favorite childhood memories. Sunday Dinner with "Aunt Louise and Uncle Roland" was always a special event and Melvin was often there which made it extra special. He had that broad smile and loved to tease us and make us laugh. I also have a vivid memory of meeting Regina for the first time when we went to the house on Piedmont Dr. to meet "the Lady Melvin is going to marry". I thought she was so beautiful, which she still is. I know you all will miss him so very much. He was a wonderful man.

Regina, I have many cherished memories from my childhood of my godfather Melvin. My sister and I loved when he visited us and tossed us up in the air, always with that wonderful smile. I was deeply saddened to read of his passing. You and your family are in my thoughts at this difficult time. Stay safe.
