Mike was a very good friend in my college years . I met him in class and became instant friends ! I can't tell you how many times I would cry laughing around him and the others ! We had our little group and played games ! He was a wonderful person and I was saddened to hear about him passing ! He will forever be remembered!

I remember Mike from De La Salle where he and my brother were classmates.  I haven’t seen him since, but he made an impression on me.  He was always very nice and friendly whenever I saw him.  Always had a smile and a hearty laugh. My prayers are with his family. Rest in Peace, Mike. 

I know the family is hurting over the great loss of a great man.  I wish i could say anything to make your loss more manageable.  All i can do is tell of our relationship and what he meant to me. Mike and I were business associates and friends.  I am not as lucky as most to have know this man for a long time.  In the time i knew him i found him to be kind, gentle, caring person, he was always smiling and trying to help with your needs.  I am so sad for my loss of a great man.  I pray that his family finds peace in the knowledge that this guy is sitting with Jesus right now enjoying the life that i know the lord is happy with.  I know he will be there waiting for us all. Mike was a good man, one of the best. I am lucky be have able to work with Mike twice once at Commanders Palace and again at Palace Cafe and be able to have called him a friend. He will be missed by many.

So many good times with MikeCobb. He will be greatly missed. Life will not be the same without him. Love you Bub, I’m sure you are already making friends and making the Angels laugh. 

This is one of the many favorite days that I got to spend with Mike. He made every minute of every day count. Everyday was an adventure with him

It’s hard to believe that a man full of so much life has left us so early. The grief that I feel is the overwhelming sense of friendship and love that I have for him. The world will never be the same without MikeCobb “one word,” and my life will forever be changed because of him.

I met Mike when he was a freshman at LSU, and I was a graduate assistant in the LSU Athletics Department. Playing my adopted position, o-line, I paid attention to him, and all of our players, including walk-ons, and managers and trainers. Mike was a happy go lucky, positive guy and a great teammate. May his loving soul and spirit rest in peace. 

Learned A lot from this guy. Sure gonna Miss Him. His Family is in Our Prayers. R.I.P Big Guy. Until we meet again.


The world is a whole lot dimmer without uncle mike, he was and forever will be the life of the party. I will forever cherish the fun times and all the endless laughs. He really made a difference in many lives. I know he will be remembered with love. My heart is heavy today and I know y’all’s are too. I will be thinking of y’all as y’all celebrate uncle mikes life, sending lots of strength and love. I will really miss him.

So sad to hear about Mike. I haven’t seen Mike in many years, but I have fond childhood memories of his friendship when we were class mates at  Holy Name of Jesus and De LaSalle! 

We spent many weekends hanging out at each others homes. The few times I would run into him in our adult years he was always warm, kind, and friendly. 

I know his family will miss him dearly.
