I went to college with Mike at Tulane and have so many good memories: Hanging out together, studying together(at times, but not too much!!!), playing bridge, going to Saints games in Tulane Stadium, visiting with his family- time after time he would have me laughing in stitches. I really believe Mike could do just about anything he put his mind to. He was a true friend and he really cherished friendship. I will miss him but I am thankful he has rejoined Cindy now and is at peace. Thank you, Lord, for giving us Mike for a time!

Mike was a kind and gentle soul connected to us by Speeg family genes on his mother’s side. Many great memories at Chicot State Park where we held our beloved annual family reunions! Mike and Cindy retreated here to our home in Welsh, La after Hurricane Katrina, along with Aunt Marie, his mother in law, Nola, and her mom and two dogs. May he be enjoying a Heavenly Reunion now!

Mickey was a great friend to my brother. He was funny and caring. My whole family will miss him greatly.
