

Milton Joseph Zeller III passed away in his home on May 17, 2026, at 9:57pm. He was 70 years old. Milton was born January 24, 1956, in New Orleans, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton J. Zeller Jr. and Lois Massarini Zeller, and his grandparents, Milton J. Zeller Sr., Edna Ede Zeller, William T. Massarini, and Wilna Betz Massarini. He is survived by his sister Marlene Zeller Wenzel (Jerome) and Marlene’s dog, Daisy; his sister, Charlene Ann Zeller; his brother, Curt T. Zeller (Leslie); his nieces Shawn, Christy, Lauren, and Lacie; his nephews Curt Jr. and Scott, his great nieces Taylor (Austin), Sage, and Chevie, and his great nephew Oakland.
Milton received his education at St. Michael’s Special School and worked as a vending machine attendant for the ARC of Greater New Orleans. He was a member of many organizations, including Our Lady of Divine Providence Church, Knights of Columbus, We Care Bowling, Special Olympics, the Ochsner Fitness Center, and was the King of We Care Mardi Gras.
Milton’s life was enriched by his many hobbies. He loved music, theater, swimming, going out to eat (he loved his ribeyes - biggest on the menu), building complex puzzles for friends & family, and going on vacations. He was a Huge fan of football, particularly the Saints and LSU. He took great joy in riding the firetruck on the fourth of July, and loved attending fairs and parades, especially riding in the Excalibur Parade. He enjoyed standing on the sidewalk and waving/talking to everyone that passed by, as he never met a stranger.

Milton’s service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home at 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will be at 9am followed by a funeral service at 11am and interment at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
