Mona Juran, age 82 years, died in New Orleans on August 31, 2025. She was a native of Sweden and a resident of New Orleans since 1968. She was the beloved wife of Leo Juran; mother of their children, Dan (Yoko), Mike (Michal), Tina (Herman), Maeve Watkins (Stan), Pete (Rupal) and Dave (Ashley); grandmother of Hannah, Shir, Isabelle, Sivan, Alex, Guy, Andrew, Gil, Jovi, Leelah, Mallika, Lena and Anjali. Kindly omit flowers, memorial in Mona’s memory are suggested to Shir Chadash Conservative Congregation Sisterhood, 3737 W Esplanade Ave. Metairie, LA 70002. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Tikvat Shalom Cemetery in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, 11316 River Rd St. Rose, Louisiana.
