Muriel Catherine Mouney Michell, age 91, sadly passed away on Monday, July 7th, 2014 at 4:18 A.M. She was deeply devoted to her late husband, John, and to her children and grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her keen wit and great sense of humor. Muriel is preceded in death by her parents, Francis C. and Myrtle M. Ribot Mouney, her three brothers; Claude F. Mouney, Sr., Earl J. Mouney and Frank T. Mouney Sr., also by one sister, Alice M. Mouney Woods. She is survived by one daughter, Cherry J. (Anthony) Madere, and two sons; John H. (Corinne) Michell, Jr. and Gary F. (Carmen) Michell, M.S. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 6666 Spanish Fort Boulevard, New Orleans, La., on Monday July 14th at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be private.
