

She is survived by her brother William “Bill” Meunier (Danielle and Kyle); her beloved children: Dominick “Nick” Fazzio; daughter, Jenny Fazzio Carpenter (Kevin); and the grandchildren who brightened her world, Austin, Grayson and Isabel Carpenter; and her dear lifelong friends, Connie Bandera, Jean Hunn, Karen Dens, Patty Fritch, Sheila Durel, and Susan Dill. She also leaves behind of a host of cousins that loved her dearly.
Nancy attended Christ the King grammar school and graduated from Archbishop Blenk High School. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree from USL, Nancy spent most of her career with Entergy in New Orleans, working in Treasury and Risk Management. She retired from Entergy in 2016 to spend more time with her grandchildren, as she greatly loved spending time with them.
She was smart, determined, hardworking, and resilient. She lived her life with strength, fortitude and grace. She will always be remembered for this.
Nancy loved many things including spending time with her dearly loved friends, reading books, watching jeopardy, playing Mahjong, visiting City Park, and eating at her favorite New Orleans Restaurants.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation and mass on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation begins at 9:00 a.m. followed by a mass at 10:00 a.m.
