Nanda Sadhwani Bulchandani

Nanda Bulchandani, 58, of Marrero, LA, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Jaipur, India, Nanda moved to New Orleans in 1979. Nanda established a name for herself in the New Orleans community as the proprietor of Southern Stylz, a local menswear company.

Nanda was known to make sure how everyone was doing, from her family to neighbors. Nanda always made sure her hair and nails were always perfect - you could always count on her to have a hairbrush in her purse, wherever she was. She loved to cook all types of food, but Mexican food was her specialty. She knew her son Rohit loved her Mexican soup, but knew her son Amit always had to be forced to have it no matter how cold it was outside.

She is survived by her father Ramchand Sadhwani; husband of 38 years, Shane Bulchandani; sons Amit and Rohit; brothers Raju and Harish Sadhwani; sisters Veena Dadlani and Hoori Shari; and a large and loving family across the US and India. Nanda is preceded in death by her mother, Sajni Sadhwani and her uncles Vashi and Murlidhar Sadhwani. Services are private.
