Nelson Robert Buss passed away on February 27 at his home in New Orleans, LA. He was 90. Born in Freemansburg, PA, he was a paratrooper with the 11th Airborne Division, serving during WWII in both Europe and Japan. After the war, he worked as a construction craftsman in PA, GA and FL. Nelson was an avid outdoorsman who would lend a helping hand to everyone he met. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Mamuzich; his parents Pearl Gradwohl and Norman Buss; and brothers Ralph, Leon, and Conrad. Nelson is survived by brothers Richard (Martha), Gerald (Bertha), and sister Loraine Mamuzich; his son and best friend Robert (Alice), daughters, Karen Buss and Janet Deets (Bill); grandchildren; Randy (Annette), Donna LaNasa (Marion), Michelle Pherrien (Robert), Selena Markulics (Patrick), Jenirose McCormick (James), Tara Tomlinson (Bradford) and 13 great grandchildren. His love and dedication to family will be greatly missed. Services will be held in Bethlehem, Pa.
