Noah Grace Morvant passed peacefully in the arms of her parents on December 6, 2021. Born November 10th at 23 weeks gestation after surviving 9 weeks without amniotic fluid, Noah was a baby who fought bravely and beat the odds time and time again. During her brief life, she inspired many and was deeply loved by family and friends. At less than 2 lbs, Noah was known to be feisty, unpredictable, and most of all, to be a miracle baby who made her own rules. Noah enjoyed chewing on her breathing tube and blowing bubbles, squeezing her parents' fingers, giving her nurses the side-eye, and most of all, twirling her right foot. She will be missed beyond measure.
Noah is survived by her parents, Danielle and Ellen Morvant, and big sister Deja. She was loved by her grandparents Peggy & Ed Morvant and Linda Shapiro & Allen Springer, her biological father Eric, as well as her many aunts and uncles, and eleven cousins. Her brief life was supported by the prayers and help of so many friends and loved ones. Her family is forever indebted to the OB and Maternal Fetal Medicine teams at Ochsner Baptist who helped bring Noah into the world, and most of all to the amazing nurses and physicians at the Ochsner Baptist NICU, whose incredible care sustained her life.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 13th at 10:00 am at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, with services to follow at 11 am.
