Norman Mitchell Pansano “Mitzi” passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the age of 86 surrounded by family. Beloved husband of the late Iris Barilleaux Pansano. Loving father of Mitchell Pansano, Sr. (Carol), Denise Pansano Senac (Etienne Jr.), and Harold Pansano (Katie). Grandfather of Etienne Senac III, Mitchell Pansano, Jr., Desiree Senac Reese, Angelo Pansano, and the late Tony Pansano. Great grandfather to Cooper, Madison, Mallory, Luca, Tony, Makenna, Jaxson, and Emory. Also survived by one brother Roy Pansano, Jr. Preceded in death by his parents Roy J. Pansano, Sr. and Loredia Gros Pansano. He will be dearly missed by friends and family. He was a member of the International Longshoreman’s Association, Local 3000. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park.
