Oliver John Jung, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Luling, La, was born on January 25, 1927, and passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones on Sunday, January 8, 2017. He is survived by his lovely wife, Beverly F. Jung, his two sons David (Sandra) and Keith (Colene), three grandchildren, Ronald J. Jung, II (Erin), Jennifer Todesco (Jerry), and Camden Jung, and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Douglas Jung, his son, Ronald J. Jung, his grandson, Jason M. Jung, and his brothers, Elmore and William Jung. He was retired from Shell Oil Company after 35 years of service. He was a proud veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
