Oskar Leonardo Martinez

Oskar Leonardo Martinez entered into Heaven on Thursday, November 13, 2014. Preceded in death by his father Rene Martinez. He is survived by his loving wife Tanea Martinez, children Kellie, Oscar, Maddy, Sarah-Anne, Nadia, and Nicholas; mother Martha Martinez; siblings Mirtza Smith, Rene Javier Martinez (Ana), Ruben Martinez, Carmenza Ramirez (Miguel), Martha Lida Sunsin (Rainiero); Mother-in-law Caridad Rodriguez; brother-in-law Johnny Rodriguez; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. He was hardworking, fun-loving, and above all devoted to his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, and brother, and an awesome, fun uncle to his nieces and nephews. His personality was infectious and everyone who knew him will miss his charismatic spirit. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home. Interment will take place following the service at Westlawn Cemetery.
