Pamela Landry Caravella died peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, after a long battle with leukemia. She was the beloved wife of Chris Caravella for 33 years and the proud mother of George Caravella and wife Dorie Belleau Caravella, Libby Caravella Rosenthal and husband Steven, and Joseph Caravella and partner Jordan Coffey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sterling Landry Jr. and Patricia Wilson Landry, and father-in-law, George Caravella. She is also survived by her brother, Sterling Landry III and his wife Dalis Dominguez Schubert Landry, mother-in-law, Maydel Cure Caravella, and a host of loving in-laws, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She took great joy as a grandmother-to-be of the yet unborn child of George and Dorie. A warm and personable person, Pam was a friend to nearly all she met and counted herself blessed to be part of a vast network of those she loved. She was a master of the grand gesture whether planning vacations, picking that perfect gift, hosting Endymion open-house or decorating her signature cakes always fit to a tee to the person or event being honored. She lived large and went big lifting up all of us with her boundless spirit.
