

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1955, Patricia spent her later years in Baton Rouge. A graduate of Riverdale High School Metairie (73) and LSU (77) where she received a BS in Education. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, teacher, and friend whose kindness touched many lives. Patricia dedicated much of her career to teaching middle school in Louisiana. Outside the classroom, Patricia enjoyed reading and had a special love for roses. In 1991, Patricia was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Over the next 35 years, she faced the challenges of the disease with determination and strength. Despite many difficulties, she lived with dignity and perseverance.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Englert; her mother, Eva Kemper Williams; her father, John Williams Sr.; and her brother, John Williams Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Englert; her sister, Kay Kerr; and many extended family members and friends. Patricia will be remembered for her love of family, and the quiet strength she demonstrated throughout her life.
A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, June 20th from 10AM until 12PM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, with interment to follow at Metairie Cemetery at 12:30PM.
