She was the only child born in New Milford, Connecticut, to Thomas Francis Feeney Jr. and Evelyn Rydell Feeney.
She is survived by her neighbor and close friend, Shannon Leger, and her husband, Todd .
Pat has been known as “Coin Lady” for many decades- stemming from her bookkeeping and manager career at the New Orleans Mint, a doubloon manufacturing company.
As an avid football fan, she was a Saints season ticket holder for 52 years, even attending the Super Bowl for the 2009-2010 season. Using “Coin Lady” as her moniker, she even regularly called in to Bobby Hebert’s show to give her sports insights.
Her love for animals was evident in the tender care she showed towards Shannon’s fur baby pets as well as her own beloved cats, Milo and Freddy, and Mindy and Boo Boo, who predeceased her.
Please consider wearing your favorite Saints gear to her services. If you represent a Mardi Gras krewe, please bring a doubloon as a donation to the Coin Lady’s collection.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Catholic Liturgy Service in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 1 PM. Visitation will begin at noon. After the chapel service, Pat will be laid to rest in Lake Lawn Park.
