Patricia Ann Fitzmorris Sirera, devoted and loving wife of the late Richard Louis Sirera, Sr., and daughter of the late Martin Henry and Gwendolyn Lindner Fitzmorris, passed peacefully on August 24, 2018 at the age of 79. She is survived by her sister Kathleen Ann Fitzmorris, sons Richard (Brenda), and Martin (Ginny) and her grandchildren Molly, Emily, Susannah, Sara Grace and Zachary (Madi). She lived a life of devotion to her family. A native of Lakeview, New Orleans, La, and graduate of St. Dominic’s School and Mount Carmel Academy, she was active in everything that her husband and sons were active in, from camping and fishing to Boy Scouts and band. A parishioner of St. Dominic’s in Lakeview for most of her life, her last years were spent in St Philip Neri Parish in Metairie.
Family and friends are invited to visitation at 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 29, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. A Catholic Mass will be held at noon, with interment in Metairie Cemetery immediately following. In lieu of flowers, masses preferred or donations to Mount Carmel Academy are encouraged.
