Patricia Wagner van Oosten died on Monday, June 30, 2014 after a brief illness. Age 83 years. Daughter of the late Charles A. and Mary Elizabeth Rafferty Wagner. Wife of the late André P. Van Oosten. Beloved sister of Elizabeth Wagner Maio and Charles A. Wagner, Jr. (Charlene Fortun), and the late Diane Wagner Spitzkeit and Caroline Wagner Gray. Loving aunt of Elizabeth Caroline Gray, Patrick D. Gray (Judy Belle), Melanie Miranda, Beau Spitzkeit, Robin Wagner, and Leslie Wagner. She is also survived by great nieces, nephews, cousins, and very special friends, Dr. Elizabeth I. McBurney, Moselle Frugé, Pat Truehart, and Emmalou Barber.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ochsner Foundation Hospital.
