Patricia Ann Gillen Vezina

Patricia Ann Gillen Vezina, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2016. She was 75, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie. Beloved wife for 53 years of Nel Vezina. Loving mother of Erin (Joseph) Caruso, Maura (Todd) Owers, Yvette (Greg) LaCour, Marc (Monica) Vezina, Scott (Johanna) Vezina, Craig (Ashley) Vezina. Proud grandmother of Elizabeth, Catherine, Stephen and Michael Owers; Patrick, Teresa, Matthew, Luke and Jude LaCour; Jeremy and Ryan Vezina; Jacob and Andrew Vezina; Emma and Hailey Vezina; and step-grandmother of Spencer, Lauren and Natalie Navarro Crane. She is the daughter of the late Gerard and Clelie Gillen and the sister of the late Gerard J. Gillen, Jr. She was a graduate of the Academy of the Holy Angels. Patricia was a loyal friend to many, generous giver of her time and cherished by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at St. Clement of Rome Church, 4317 Richland Avenue, Metairie, LA. Visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral Mass in the church at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Metairie Cemetery All Saints Mausoleum.
