I am sad to hear about Paul. I had tried to contact him several times in the past, especially the last few months when his friend Mike asked me to reach out to him. We knew him as a Monday Night Disciple. He was a good and holy man with a special devotion to Mother Mary.  He will be remembered and will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Paul and I went to Holy Name of Jesus school in Uptown New Orleans and I haven't seen him in 57 years. I remember him as a very kind and caring person who always gave of himself. He was a good son to his parents and a wonderful brother to his brothers and his sisters. He always brought love and joy into the lives of other people and made strangers into friends.
I had forgotten that his middle name began with T and I was suprised when I remembered that his name was Terrell. This is ironic for me because I live in Terrell, Texas. My prayers are with the Gillin family and I am very sorry for your loss. 
Paul will always be remembered and never forgotten by all of the people whose lives that he touched and changed their lives forever.

My name is Stuart Schayot, a fraternity brother of Gee, at UNO(PKT), in the early 70’s. I have a twin brother and we became instant friends with Gee after we all realized we were die hard Tulane fans. I never forget the great times we had together at fraternity functions. Can you imagine seeing Gee in a Togo! He called me and my twin Heckle and Jeckel . I was shocked to learn of his passing. He was one of a kind. My father passed away in December, 2011. At his funeral, someone tapped me on my shoulder and I turned and looked and there was Gee. I was overwhelmed that he would be there after not seeing him for over 30 years. What a kind jester from a wonderful person. My wife and I pray the rosary daily, Gee and and all his family will be added to our prayer list. 

Although we had not meet up in many years 
I had thought about Gee when hunting over the years  he will be missed

Had many a fun time with Gee. One of the great prognosticators in the political world. Loved his opinions and predictions, most of which came true.  Have lost touch these past few years but I will remember him with great fondness. My sympathies to his family. Eddie Price

I have fond memories of enjoying many animated conversations about the Saints,  SEC football and his beloved children, Patrick and Blathrae.   He always contributed delicious entrees for parade parties and was a gracious chauffeur when needed for the friends of Anne.   May he Rest In Peace.
