Paul Rancatore Sr. passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the age of 95. He served in the United States Navy during WWII from 1944 to 1946, USS Warrick aka 89, he was a landing craft operator in IWO Jima, and Asiatic Pacific in the Philippines Liberation.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Rancatore and Rose Macalusa Rancatore; wife of 64 years, Beverly Breun Rancatore; son, Sidney Rancatore.
He is survived by his sons, Paul Rancatore, Jr. (Yoko), Tony Rancatore, Sr. (Lori), Roy Rancatore (Emmalyn), and Mario Rancatore, Sr.; grandchildren, Tony Jr., Dominick, Mario Jr. , Austin, Victoria, Katie, Bridget, Roy Jr., James, Rory, Jeremy, Kristian, and Theresa; 11 great grandchildren. He is also survived by host of other family members and friends.
Services will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 9:30AM with a service held at 1:00PM.
