

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, William Francis Kirwin, Sr.; her brother, August “Gus” Carl Krinke; her stepson-in-law, Glenn Boudreaux; and her parents, August and Ismay Krinke.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Barbara “Missy” Kirwin (Sonia Alvarez); six step-children, William “Billy” F. Kirwin, Jr., Bonnie Mullet (Beau), Janine Boudreaux, Lisa Kirwin, John Kirwin, and Shannon Riggio (Todd); her nieces, Jessica Krinke Bean (James) and Jennifer Krinke Moreau (Keith) and their children; her cousin, Joycelyn Toups (and the late Shelton); her sister-in-law, Jeannette Krinke; and her best friends, Raymond “Max” William, Gale Prudhomme, Maggie Vick, Margie Nichols, and the “Yo-Yo’s”. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren.
Pauline was born in New Orleans on October 15, 1942, and graduated from St. Stephen Catholic School. She worked as a dispatch clerk with Bellsouth for over 30 years and retired in 2003.
Pauline loved animals and she leaves behind her beloved chihuahua, Izzy.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to caretaker, Debra Gilmore, for the care and compassion she gave to Pauline, and to Lisa Gilliland Krieger.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 1:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:00AM. The interment will follow the Funeral Mass at St. Louis Cemetery No. III.
