Phyllis Schwalb Ebeyer

Phyllis was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 38 years, Arthur George Ebeyer, Jr.; her parents, Phillip Anthony Schwalb and Marie Larre Schwalb; and her sisters, Inez Salletes, Beatrice Thompson, and Lillian Castillon.

Phyllis is survived by her two loving daughters, Linda Ebert Milligan of Metairie, La. and Patsy Ebeyer Walker (spouse, Charles M. Walker) of Olivia, Tx.; and her two granddaughters, Stacey Ebert of Slidell, La. and Robyn Ebert of Lakeview, La.

Phyllis was born in New Orleans on August 15, 1929, and was a proud graduate of Sacred Heart High School on Canal Street. She was elected to membership in the LeClere Chapter of the National Honor Society on May 29, 1946. In 1973, she began her career with Andry & Andry, as their legal secretary, and retired in 2006.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the entire staff of Passages Hospice, especially to Brooke Zeringue, RN and Jennifer Dunn, LCSW, for their care and compassion.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11:00AM. The interment will follow the service at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
