Ramona Meynier Cames

She was born June 24, 1928, in New Orleans, to the late Louis Wilton Meynier and Bertha Wiemers Meynier.

Survived by a son, Paul Cames (Kathy), and three daughters, Denise Repman (Doug), Jeanne Hayton (Jimmy), Rae Cames & three grandchildren, Sara Sweeney (Greg), Michelle Cames, and Matthew Repman.

Preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Laurent J. Cames, by her sisters, Bertha Meynier Moinet, Lois Meynier Henderson, Anna Meynier Dickinson & brother, Albert H. Meynier.

She will be greatly missed by her entire family including her children, numerous nieces and nephews, and her god children, Bert Meynier and Linda Dickinson Doredant.

Ramona loved having parties with her family and good food. She was an excellent New Orleans cook. Ramona retired from Bell South Central after 23 years of service & was a member of the Bell South Pioneers.

Her burial will be private.
